Grace
Executive Director
Grace’s was as a youth herself during the LHYCs opening years as she attended Maple Grove, then had the privilege of working as a summer student at the centre during her time at Nipissing University and Canadore College.
Grace enjoys baking, crafting, event planning and any opportunity for a creative outlet. She is excited to bring this energy to the LHYC, to reconnect with community members and meet new people.


Alexa has been attending the Youth Centre as a youth for 8 years. She has been a consistent member of the youth centre, and recently transitioned into a staff role! She likes to play sports and pool, and take every chance she can to have fun!

Summer Program Assistant

Jessica joined the Youth Centre as a Program Assistant in the fall of 2023 after completing her diploma in Addictions Community Service Worker through Willis College. She transitioned into the role of Program Manager in the fall of 2024. Jessica grew up in Lanark Village and is excited to be a part of the team!

Andy
Summer Program Assistant

Andy joined the LHYC in 2017, and started working with children long before that. Andy has coached youth sports teams, spent time with Pedal Heads in Ottawa, has experience working with youth in a theatre capacity and is very passionate about theatre arts herself. Andy loves being in this role at the LHYC and encourages other youth to see their potential while engaging in programs.
Phoenix
Summer Program Assistant
Phoenix has been attending the Youth Centre as a youth for 8 years. She has since been around the whole time eventually making her way into the staff team! She likes to cook, sing & do puzzles!

Anita
Summer Program Assistant

Anita has been attending the Youth Centre since she turned 10. She is very excited to take on a staff position before heading to University in the fall. She likes to play board games, go hiking, and she enjoys a good movie.

Sherry
Community Wellness & Recreation Leader
Sherry joined the LHYC in the spring of 2025. She is very new to the role, but not new to working in the non-profit sector. She is excited for this new adventure and looks forward to connecting with the youth and families of Lanark Highlands.
